shop sample: Hearts Among Us handknit hat

Hearts Among Us by Sarah Keller is cozy worsted weight two-color handknit hat knit in stranded colorwork. Sarah's design inspiration for this hat was love all around us. "Be it little acts of compassion, or the smallest of knitting motifs, anywhere you look you can see hearts among us."

This handknit hat features a colorwork motif and ribbed brim and the pattern uses a colorwork chart. It is suitable for a knitter just learning to work with two colors and read a chart. Ingrid knit our sample using contrasting colors of Dream In Color Riley, a squishy and soft, single-ply, worsted weight,100% superwash merino wool. The saturated colors of Riley make it easy to select a contrasting combination; swap your colors to make a second hat with 2 skeins! We put together a few fun contrasting color ideas below.

Dream In Color Riley color pairings:

1. Tart & Pickle Ball

2. Sundance & Fortune Teller

3. Do Re Me & Lemon Lime

4. Elysian & Tiny Blue
